Antimicrobial Scales

Recognizing that infection control and the safety of patients and caregivers are critical concerns for healthcare facilities, SR Scales® has implemented antimicrobial powder coating. This coating uses silver-zinc zeolite antimicrobial technology, which is known to inhibit the growth of microbes on powder-coated surfaces. In addition, the scale keypads feature antimicrobial protection. SR Scales® platform scales, wheelchair scales, and in-bed/stretcher scales are all equipped with antimicrobial keypads for added protection.
