Constructed from heavy-duty cast aluminum with a durable powder-coated finish, the SR585i offers long-lasting performance and easy cleaning for clinical environments. Despite its rugged construction, the scale remains lightweight enough for caregivers to transport easily using the Tip-n-Go mobility design, allowing the scale to be moved directly to the patient for point-of-care weighing.

The integrated wrap-around handrails and front handhold allow patients to maintain balance and stability while standing on the scale without affecting measurement accuracy. The SR585i also includes BMI calculation functionality, enabling healthcare providers to quickly determine Body Mass Index after entering the patient’s height.

For modern healthcare workflows, the scale features serial data output for EHR/EMR connectivity, allowing weight data to be transmitted directly to electronic medical records systems or an optional printer.

The SR585i can operate using six D-cell batteries for portable use or an optional AC power adaptor for always-on touchless weighing, making it adaptable for a wide range of clinical environments.
